Injen Air Intake - SP Series Intake System - FRS/BRZ (WRINKLE BLACK)

Sounds great and adds an extra boost

Runs smoother and adds performance, all while removing a lot of unnecessary OEM intake coverage. This was easily the first thing I installed with the resonator delete.

This purchase I feel really good about. The product is made of fine materials, built to last. Like other reviewers, I hear an extra sonorous sound under heavy throttle (not at idle mind you). I also think the modest extra airflow produces power that helps with the power dip right around 4000 rpm. I don't worry about my warranty because it has expired (mine is a 2013 model).

Bought this intake for my first install on my FR-S and couldn't be happier. I can feel the slight difference in power at higher rpms and my car seems to be running a bit more efficient. Really like being able to hear it sucking in air as well. Great purchase for sure!

Installed this intake on my frs and it's amazing. I absolutely love the way it sounds and I can feel the difference in power. I highly recommend this one to anyone who is looking into getting an intake and it's a easy install too! I can say this is definitely worth it!

You can put this on in less than 30 minutes. Construction is solid and the fitment is spot on. Don't drop the nut that goes on the front of the airbox.  Completely remove the sound tube and use the cig lighter plug from behind the glove box to plug the sound tube hole in the floorboard.  Follow the instructions and enjoy.

Shipping was quick as usual and Install was a breeze. Had a few issues with bogging at first but has since been sorted out. I'm not sure about the real world HP gains but it really amplifies the sound when you go fill WOT. It definitely feels like the car breathes easier.

Every photo I've seen of the intake installed shows a gap between the snorkel inlet and the air box. When I finished installing mine it was like this as well, but after the first drive or two  the air box has since moved itself up against the inlet; I'm not sure if this has any effect but it definitely seems like its better than the large gap for hot air to enter.
Sale price is pretty decent for an intake, if $$ isn't an issue I'd consider the Grimmspeed as a good alternative.

First off, I was skeptic maybe a little hesitant getting an air intake for my 2015 BRZ. After a long extensive research, I finally find what I’m looking for. I made a wise decision to go with injen air intake instead of K&N air intake. Pricing not even close between the two so for $100 less injen win that part. Also its 50 state legal or pending CA. Install was pretty simple, no engine light/cel issues. Drove the car normally after the install maybe a bit over 50 miles. Then started to appreciate the throttle response that the intake gives you, I begin to notice the throttle pedal felt light to touch and the response was quicker than the stock. Its a little bit louder than stock when the throttle opens up 4-6k rpm. Also I notice the injen pcv inlet tube was further and the angle is close to 90 degree not 45 degrees towards the hose. That causes the pcv hose to lean against the back of the power steering unit. But took care that problem with some heat shield matetial to wrap around the rubber hose. Overall it seems that my intake was redesign from the previous unit.
