JDL - FT86 Cold Air Intake for V2 Turbo System
Do you already own one of our JDL Auto Design V2 Turbo systems or looking to get one soon for your 86 platform vehicle and want to maximize your power potentials? Well, you have come to the right place. JDL Auto Design is proud to offer a cold air intake system for your JDL Auto Design V2 Turbo system that allows your system to take a breath of fresh air. The system was designed to pull intake air from under the drivers headlight area left of the radiator and condenser. This cooler charge air temp creates a dense inlet air which allows for improved combustion efficiency and increased power potential as a result. The all Aluminum hand TIG welded piece uses 3.0" diameter tubing and a larger surface area K&N filter over the standard warm air intake that comes with the turbo system. Gains as high as 10+whp have been unlocked without even a tune revision. Power levels will obviously differ based on tune, geography, weather, and which turbo system is in use. Although, a tune is not required it will ensure your power potential has been maximized. Please consult your tuner upon purchase of this system for any potential revisions that may need to be implemented.
