Reverse bar & Third Brake Light (SMOKE) Scion FRS/ Subaru BRZ

This was a little confusing to install as there were no wiring instructions included. A little common sense and trial and error will allow you to connect the additional wires so the light bar is on and the brake triangle light works. The included connector snaps in red are pretty bad, I couldn't use them. Splice the wires the old fashioned way. Anyhow, the good news is the part fits very well and looks great. Good price compared to the Valenti it knocks off.

I bought these because I did not like the stock chrome look.

Once you remove the stock ones you see its some really cheap plastic. The instillation was pretty easy and they look really bad ass at night. The reverse light is much brighter than stock. They are pretty good quality too had them most of winter (salt/water/ice/snow/pebbles) they still look brand new!

This can be a little confusing to install once you get into the wiring area inside the trunk. Other than that, everything else is easy to install and the light works perfectly. These guys at Fteightysix are constant professionals with great customer service. Recommend them anytime for anything.

Good product. But shipping disgusting. I waited for them to send a parcel a few days. Box comming more than a week. The box was opened and no packed properly. And yes, there is no manual

I purchased the smoke version of this light and it looks great on the car.    There were no instructions but it's pretty easy to understand how to install and connect it.  If you use the connectors attached, the reverse light works.  You have to cut into the wiring for your brake and tail lights if you want those to also work.  I used the running lights to light up the "-V-" section and the brake lights to trigger the top triangle section.  It works great and it matches my Toms tail lights better than I expected.  

The only downside was that the wires that came with the kit were a little shorter than I would have liked, but they did work without needing to be extended.  They are just pulled kinda tight.  

For the price, it's hard to beat this light.  

Great product with reasonable shipping time/ Comes with no instructions but a guide can be found on the fteightysix blog. Installed with no problems, helps if you have someone do it with you. Looks great after installed, easily comparable to the valenti's it knocks off.

Although no instructions came with this product. And it did take a bit to install. It looks amazing once in and wired correctly.  

Light looks and works great. Shipping was fast and everything with install went smooth.  Only negative is no instructions or wiring diagram wih the light.

You're gonna need to check out another website for directions and buy yourself more materials in order for this to work.

So I finally had some extra funds to "complete" my rear end's lighting. I had the smoked valenti tails for a while now. Researched and saw this.

These tails are great, have the DRL "V" separate from the brake light itself unlike the other generic ones where they have them both lit up at the same time as DRL. The wiring took some time to figure out (even with the guide) but was simple enough when that lightbulb went off in my head. You need to splice 2 wires for the light with the supplied "T Tap connectors".

The only thing I really don't like about this is even though it's smoked, it's a light smoke which I understand makes the light output easier to see but I just hate the chrome/visible LEDs.

Fitment was spot on, and the packing supplied was secured and enough foam. Like I mentioned before, it doesn't come with instructions.

The light looks great and is very good quality. There are no instructions in the box, but istallation was a breeze with the directions provided on the website. Only thing I can say is to not use the wire taps, just wire them into the tail light. And great customer service as always!

The lights are awesome but took a bit of time to understand what to do

I bought this to match my Valenti smoked taillights and the match is perfect! Took a little bit to figure out the wiring but the forums have plenty of info on that. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the reverse light is not as bright as I wish it was but other than that they look great. I also bought a strobe box for the brake light and that makes is much cooler!
